how long should i continue to care for my new tattoo?
i’ve had a few tattoos done about 2 weeks ago and they seem to be healed. there is no peeling or itching at this point, although sometimes when they are dry there is a bit of dead skin on the edges. how long should i continue to moisturize and protect my tattoos? at what point is it ok to take a regular shower without worrying?
after 2 weeks, it should be ok. You should keep it moisturized with vaseline or nivea cream after you shower for a week more. Use a high spf sunblock on it daily if its going to be exposed to the sun at all to keep the color from fading.
